The former CEO of Death Row Records, Marion Hugh Suge Knight Jr. or simply Suge has landed himself in a lot of hot water after allegedly sending a threatening text message full of violent remarks to director F. Gary Gray back in 2014 during the ongoing shooting of their film Straight Outta Compton.

The hip hop celebrity Suge Knight Jr. is not only a music icon, but also a record producer. In addition to this, after leaving the rap group NWA, Suge Knight founded the famous and successful Death Row Records back in 1991 with the rapper Dr. Dre as well as The D.O.C.

He served as the company’s CEO for some time before a major fallout with Dr. Dre had him packing his bags. After this, Suge accused and made claims of Dr. Dre ordering a hit on him.

The Straight Outta Compton and The Italian Job director, F. Gary Gray took Suge Hugh to court after the latter allegedly sent the former director death threats that had Gary petrified and scrambling for the police.

A photo has recently been circulating social media where the ‘in demand’ director can be seen talking with the police on the sets of Straight Outta Compton at the end of the shoot.

Suge was apparently severely upset over his role and portrayal in the concerned movie. Straight Outta Compton is a movie based on the NWA, a rap group Suge Knight Jr. used to be a part of.

Suge was tried in the court of Los Angeles on the charges of making threats on 2014 which could lead to harsh and severe bodily harm, or even death. It has been widely reported that Suge Knight has pleaded ‘not guilty’ to the charges in court. The charges could not come at a far worst time for the Suge family.

Knight, who is fifty two years old at present, has been sentenced to jail to wait for a trial on accounts of murder in a hit and run case. Back in the year of 2015, Suge was charged for killing a bystander in a parking lot.

Throughout the whole ordeal, the Suge family seems to be standing in complete solidarity with one of their own, having no qualms whatsoever in openly expressing and showing their support for Suge Knight.

While Suge is set to make an appearance on the big screen in the biopic ‘All Eyes On Me’, it is safe to say his career and freedom, for the matter of fact, are both over.
