Sam Smith fans in Australia will delight once they learn that they can actually catch the British singer-songwriter live in 2018. This Aussie show will be for his second album named “The Thrill of It All.”
The show is set to wow fans this January 2018. Sam Smith will be performing at the Sydney Opera House in an exclusive concert for all ages. This marks the first time Sam Smith will tour Australia after two years, since his last show in Australia in 2015.
The singer-songwriter will feature a lot of tracks from his new album, as per Music Feeds.
Interestingly, in order to avoid scalpers selling tickets for extremely unreasonable prices, customers are now only allowed to purchase a maximum of two tickets per person. The electronic and physical tickets will now only be delivered until after January 2, 2018.
Pre-sale of the tickets have already begun on October 12, while the official ticket sale have begun on October 16.
The purchaser’s name will now be printed on the tickets themselves. They now need to present a valid identification in order to enter the premises.
Sam Smith fans can catch the album itself when it releases on November 3. It will be the follow-up to the artist’s first album named “The Lonely Hour.”

Sam Smith is a 25-year old artist whose rise to fame began in 2012 when his single “Latch” came at 11 in the British single charts. He was also featured on “La La La” with the Naughty Boy’s, which also helped skyrocket him to fame. This is considering the track actually rose to become his first numero uno single in 2013.
By the end of 2013, he won 2014 Brit Critics’ Choice Award and BBC’s Sound of 2014 poll.
He was also known for singing “Writing’s on the Wall” along with Jimmy Napes. The song served as the theme song for Spectre, the 2015 James Bond film. He won the Golden Globe and the Academy Award for this track.
