The Spice Girls has made a mark on a lot of lives thanks to their spicy performances and catchy tunes. This was why some hardcore fans are still following their idols after their separation in 2012. Unfortunately, Spice Girl Mel B (Melanie Brown) feels as though she’s been neglected by the rest of her Spice Girls peers.
Mel B, who is currently handling a custody issue and divorce proceedings with Stephen Belafonte, her husband, after their split early in the year (2017). The Spice Girl is also handling a defamation case from Lorraine Gilles, her former nanny.
As per Music News, it seems Mel B wasn’t supported by her peers. So much so when she found out fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton was in Los Angeles, where Mel B resided, but allegedly did not visit her.
Mel B’s other close peers, Geri Halliwell and Melanie Chisholm, did not seem to visit her as well. Bunton was in Los Angeles for filming the television show called Boy Band, and was the one who told fans the much awaited Spice Girls reunion may be unlikely. This was just after herself, Geri, and Mel had started discussing the said reunion in 2016 under the new name “GEM.”
The source added that it may perhaps be Mel B’s behavior that seems to make it hard for people to approach her. The source said Mel B tends to not listen to advice, and to shut herself out from everyone, but she also tends to complain when people aren’t there to intervene.
However, Mel B’s personal guardian angel came in the form of Eddie Murphy. A former lover and the father of Angel, who is now 10 years told, Murphy has been of great help to Mel B, according to the source.
The original Spice Girls team consisted of Mel B (Scary Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice, Mel C), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), and Emma Bunton (Baby Spice). The team has been established in 1994. The girls released 11 singles, three studio albums, and five video albums.
