If you’re a Linkin Park fan but you can’t attend the Chester Bennington tribute performance, you can join the band and other fans via livestreaming. This is good news for fans who cannot travel at the Los Angeles Hollywood Bowl, as they can at least celebrate Bennington’s legacy.
Fans can now start viewing the performance on Saturday, October 28. Aussie fans of the band can start the livestreaming beginning 1:45 PM AEDT. The news came courtesy of a James Cordon’s Carpool Karaoke episode on Linkin Park, which the band released. It was filmed just days before Bennington’s death.
Fans can watch the livestream on Linkin Park’s official YouTube channel.
It can be remembered that the tribute concert has become a sold-out hit since tickets were available for sale. The concert celebrates the life of Bennington after his passing last July 20.
The concert will feature Linkin Park’s first performance since Bennington’s death. Other bands will be joining Linkin Park as well.
The concert, named “Linkin Park And Friends Celebrate Life In Honor Of Chester Bennington,” also doubles as an initiative to raise awareness about suicide and depression. According to Music Feeds, proceeds from the concert will be going to a One More Light Fund, which is named after Bennington’s last single, “One More Light.”
Other performances include Blink-182, Korn, and System of A Down.
Fans will remember Linkin Park as the California-based rock band that rose to fame since its conception in 1996. Their debut Hybrid Theory in 2000 was an outstanding Diamond hit in 2005, and had multiple Platinum recognition in other countries. The band has been exploring genres such as alternative rock, nu metal, rap metal, rap rock, and electronic rock, which is reflected in their music.
This unique style has led the band to rise through the charts and consistently became Billboard toppers through the years.
