California-based indie poppers Grouplove will take part in two local festivals Down Under in February 2018. Their Australian fans can expect them to perform at Mountain Sounds Festival in New South Wales Central Coast and the Party in the Paddock Festival in Tasmania, Music Feeds reports.

However, these aren’t the only reasons to be excited for the return of the Californians. Grouplove also scheduled their 2018 Australian tour. So, audiences can catch them on three separate occasions in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney.

Friday, 9th February at The Triffid in Brisbane

Tuesday, 13th February at the Croxton Bandroom in Melbourne

Thursday, 15th February at the Metro Theatre in Sydney

Pre-sales for the Grouplove 2018 Australian Tour start October 18 at 9 am. It becomes available to the general public a day later on October 19 at the same time. Click here for tickets.

Audiences can look forward to hearing their favorite Grouplove hits from the band’s three albums. Their latest single “Remember That Night” is no doubt on their playset as well. Moreover, Christian Zucconi hints at new music with a special mention of keyboardist/vocalist Hannah Hooper.

Australian audiences fell in love with Grouplove and their music in 2014 when the California-based band took part in the Splendour in the Grass festival. It was their initiation into Australian festivals. Their 2016 comeback via the Falls Festival fell through. It became doubly difficult for fans as they also had sideshows lined up while they were in the country then.

In a message via their social channels, Hannah Hooper revealed it had to be done as the doctor ordered a total vocal rest for her for a period of 4 to 6 weeks.

Grouplove came together in 2008 after meeting in Greece at an artist’s commune. Aside from Zucconi and Hooper, the band also include Andrew Wessen on guitar/vocals, Ryan Rabin on drums, and Brit Sean Gadd on bass/vocals.
